CW2: With the desire and necessity to be self-sufficient ever growing due to economic stresses, the need to rely on ourselves is more important than ever, we could do with a personal utility vehicle. The ‘swiss army knife’ of cars.

20 years from now we find ourselves returning to our roots. The way we shop, and trade is completely differently. Money has lost its most of value and the way we trade is based around the exchanging of goods and services. The good old-fashioned way.

Every weekend millions of people around the world transport themselves and their produce/services to markets all over the country; from food, clothes, art and hardware. They need a vehicle that can do it all. A versatile product that has the ability to transport kids to school and builder to work of a weekday and transporting good to market on a weekend.

This vehicles core purpose is to be semi-modular. The cabin area (front seats) must remain fixed and untouched while the rear 1/3rd of the vehicle should be easily modified to suit multiple occasions. How this is done is up to you, but it must be doable for a single person.

You must identify your users individual needs through detailed personas that will inform your final product while considering future technological and material advancements.

 Your project must include the following:

·       Visual and technical research through written and visual mood boards.

·       2 Personas

·       2 pages minimum of Exterior initial sketches inspired by your visual research.

·       3 different concepts showing sketches and rough sketch renders (e.g different form language and inspirational sourcees)

·       Chosen concept showing further design refinement and interior design consideration at a minimum.

·       3 final renders minimum front ¾ , rear ¾ ,side view using any medium you have access to e.g. photoshop, markers, 3D
